Young area farm couples are encouraged to register for an ag industry tour in Greene and Carroll counties. 

The event is being hosted by the Iowa Farm Bureau and the counties in Farm Bureau Districts 4 and 5. The tour will be on Saturday, February 15th starting at 11:30am with a bus pick-up at the Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson. The stops on the tour include a beef cattle operation in Maple River, followed by Templeton Rye, a Landus Cooperative soybean processing plant in Ralston and the Iowa Corn Processors in Glidden. Dinner will be at Baratta’s Steakhouse in Carroll before coming back to Jefferson at 8pm.
