The West Central Valley Wildcats wrestled in a big meet on Saturday at their Guthrie County Rival ACGC in a 20 team event around the state that saw some Wildcats put up some respectable performances. Senior Cael Carl was able to get into the semi finals before bowing out in a tough decision, and Senior Justin Garcia was able to take 5th in the event.

The Wildcats did finish in the lower half of the standings, but considering the strong competition that they were up against, they put together some strong performances against a lot of great wrestlers from around the state.

The road to Des Moines will continue this week when they got a sectional meet coming up this week, which will be their biggest meet of the season.
