Valentine’s Day is coming up in a couple weeks, and the Stuart Chamber of Commerce is ready to show the love to local patrons with a new promotion.

The Chamber is hosting “The Lovin’ Local Giveaways” from now until February 14th. For two weeks the Chamber will announce on their Facebook page daily prize giveaways with a $25 minimum value and who that day’s giveaway sponsor is. Fourteen businesses including Raccoon Valley Radio are sponsoring the prizes, and to enter to win the public must “like” the “Stuart, Iowa Chamber of Commerce” Facebook page, “like” the participating business’ Facebook page if applicable, share the giveaway post, and comment on it.

Stuart Chamber Director Brenda Dudley says this promotion is a way to enhance the visibility of their social media presence, for which they post frequently, “It’s just a good way to keep up to date, keep involved. We’ve been having lots of Lunch and Learns that we post on the Facebook page, just pretty much everything the Chamber does and I try to share some of the business information like if people are hiring or if they have sales going on or promotions that they’re doing. So (I) just try to keep the Chamber members and their information up to date.”

Each day’s winner will be announced the following day, and winners will get to pick up their prize at Rolling Hills Bank in Stuart unless otherwise specified.
