The West Central Valley girls basketball team was able to pick up a close win this last Tuesday night in Stuart picking up a 39-37 win over Madrid in West Central Activities Conference play. The Wildcats trailed going into the fourth quarter but were able to make enough plays down the stretch to pick up the victory to go to 9-7.

The Wildcats have another day with a game today as both the boys and the girls take on Pleasantville in the third home game of the week for both teams. The girls are coming to get to double figure wins on the year, while the boys look to end their long losing streak.

Tip time for the games will be at 6 for the girls with the boys to follow from West Central Valley High School.
