The Perry girls basketball team certainly never quit Tuesday night as the 11th ranked Carroll Tigers pulled away late in defeating Perry 70-40 in RRC action from western Iowa.  Perry used a big third quarter run to cut the deficit to 13 points entering the fourth quarter but could come no closer as Carroll wore down the Jayettes in the final few minutes.  Senior Molly Lutmer was a big reason for the third quarter comeback as he scored 12 of her 16 points in the third quarter alone.  Lydia Olejniczak added 10 points and Hannah Peterson 7.   Perry handled the Carroll pressure much more efficiently than the previous 75-28 blowout loss back in December.

Perry falls to 0-8 in conference play while Carroll improves to 6-2 in the conference.
