A Des Moines man faces multiple felony charges from several alleged incidents in Jefferson.
According to the Jefferson Police Department, 39-year-old James Edward Inman is charged with a Class B Felony for ongoing criminal conduct, and Class D Felonies for second-degree theft and eight counts of forgery. The charges stem from an investigation that began on January 10th. The victim reported to police that Inman was a recent house guest and stole several checks and cashed them from the victim’s bank account in Clive. The total that was spent was $4,761.
Jefferson Police have requested an arrest warrant for Inman. Once the warrant has been issued and Inman has been arrested, he will be booked into the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
