The West Central Valley Wildcats were on the second half of a back to back doubleheader against Woodward Granger on Tuesday Night, and neither the boys or the girls could come away with the victory with the girls falling just short to a two loss team 47-41, while the boys fell 74-13.
The girls stayed in the game most of the way, but Woodward Granger would prove to be too much to drop the Lady Wildcats to 7-6 on the year. Sophomore Madelyn Jaeger and senior Sydney Neal both put together some solid performances on the night, as the Lady Wildcats played well, despite the loss.
The boys were facing a team with one loss in the season and Woodward Granger showed why early and often on the night, handing the Wildcats their thirteenth loss of the season.
Both teams will have different timeframes for their next game, with the girls to take on Saydel on Thursday, and the boys getting some time off before another game next Tuesday.
