adm-7

In the second quarter of the ADM Tigers girls game on Tuesday night some history was made, as ADM senior guard Abbie Hlas was able to record her 1,000th career point and help the Lady Tigers pull out the win over their Dallas County Rival County Dallas Center Grimes 67-63. Hlas had 27 points, and reached the milestone after a bucket in the 2nd quarter. The game was stopped as fans from both sides stood up to recognize the achievement.

ADM was great down the stretch against the state ranked team, as they were able to hit 7 out of 8 free throws in the final minute. The team was also in foul trouble all night long, but was able to avoid anyone fouling out, which was a huge difference in the game.

It was a great night for the girls team, as the win was their 5th in the last 6 games. They have a tough test on Friday Night at home against Ballard, who gave the Tigers a loss in December, as ADM will hope to be competitive in the game against one of the top teams in girls 4A.
