The Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball squads will be back on their own hardwood tonight in Grimes hosting their cr0ss-county rival, ADM of Adel.
The DC-G Girls’ are looking to make it three wins a row tonight, as they face a talented ADM club. The Fillies come in to tonight’s contest with an 8-4 record, while ADM sits at 8-3. DC-G’s most recent wins have come against Pella and Norwalk, while ADM picked up a come from behind win at Bondurant last Thursday.
For the Boys’ side of things, DC-G will look to get back on track after falling in defeat their past three games. The Mustangs are 7-3 on the season, but in the losses, DC-G stars, Luke Rankin and Cole Glasgow have been slowed down by the opponents defense. Rankin and Glasgow were averaging a combined 40 points per night in the victories, but in their losses, the two DC-G leaders have been kept to 25 combined points. Additionally, the Mustang defense has been exposed, as of late.
Tonight’s game is set for a 6:00pm Girls’ tip off, with the Boys’ to follow from DC-G High School in Grimes.
