After moving their scheduled Friday match-up at Norwalk moved to Thursday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Boys’ Basketball team has been sitting with a sour taste in their mouths. DC-G, after starting 7-0, has dropped three straight games.
The Mustangs looked unstoppable the first 7 games of the year, but recently, opponents have been able to slow down the scoring leaders of DC-G, but the role players haven’t been able to pick up the slack.
Additionally, the Mustangs’ defense has been exposed over the three game stretch. DC-G is giving up 72 points per game over the past 3 outings.
Dallas Center-Grimes will be back on its own court Tuesday, as the Mustangs welcome their cross-county rival, ADM to the friendly confines of the Meadows in Grimes. ADM has a high-powered offense that can put up points at a fast clip, and should provide a big test for the DC-G defense.
