Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and in honor of the holiday a few public entities around Dallas County are closed.

Adel City Hall and all public services are closed today, though the Adel Public Library is open for regular hours. There is no change in garbage routes for the week. All Dallas County offices, including the courthouse, ISU Extension, and Forest Park Museum, are open. In Perry, all City offices are open, though the City Council will meet Tuesday evening instead of tonight. Finally, all post offices and banking institutions in cities throughout the County are closed for the holiday.
