The Dallas Center-Grimes Girls’ Basketball team sees over half of its offensive production from just two of its players; Jordan Cunningham and Julia Reis.

Through the first 11 games of the regular season, DC-G is getting 18, and 10 points per game from Cunningham and Reis, respectively.  The Fillies are averaging 53 points per contest, but outside of the two leading scorers, offense has been sparse.

Since the early going of the season, the consistent third scoring option for Adam Jones’ team has been Freshman, Emma Miner.  Miner has been contributing nearly 7 points per night.  Along with Junior, Lexi Protzman who is just shy of 6 points per night.

DC-G will look to pick up another win, and add in some more production from other role players with its next outing scheduled for Friday night, with a road game in Norwalk.  DC-G’s date with Norwalk is scheduled to be a Boy/Girl Doubleheader.  Varsity Girls action is set for 6:00pm, with the Boys to follow.

The Fillies are back on their home court in Grimes with a game versus cross-county rival, ADM on Tuesday, January 21.
