The Greene County High School girls basketball team is once again encouraging fans to support their efforts for community organizations.

Tomorrow night, during the Rams game against Saydel, the girls basketball team will be having several fundraising activities. Head coach Tyler Westhoff says there will be a bake sale, silent auction and a “chuck the duck” game. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio the “chuck the duck” game is where fans are given a rubber duck and at halftime, they can “chuck” it at a target for a chance to win prizes.

Additionally, Westhoff invites fans to wear pink shirts, while the players will be wearing pink uniforms in support of cancer research. He says the money they raise tomorrow night will be given to Greene County Medical Center and the University of Iowa’s Children’s Hospital to further cancer research.
