The home dual meet season for Greene County wrestling is tonight in the middle school gym in Jefferson. Coach Zach Beekman’s Rams are 13-3 so far and will host Audubon, Ogden, and Southeast Valley (Gowrie) starting at 5:30 p.m. in the middle school gym in Jefferson. Tonight also marks the final appearance at home for the seniors, including lineup regulars Braden Gallagher at 120 lbs., Will Hansen at 152 lbs., and Matt Naverhaus at 285 lbs.

Greene County is coming off a 3-0 night in Woodward on Tuesday with dual meet victories over Martensdale-St. Mary’s, Nodaway Valley, and Woodward-Granger. The Rams will be favored in all three matches tonight as both Audubon and Ogden are 2-13, while SEV has a 7-7 record.

Tonight’s action is the second leg of an extremely busy week of Greene County wrestling. The varsity goes to the North Polk dual meet tournament in Alleman tomorrow, then makes the trip to Monroe early Saturday for the PCM Mustang Invitational.
