The Stuart Police Department’s monthly children’s program is soon approaching.

“Books & Badges” will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 11th at the Stuart Public Library. This program is open to all area children and parents to hang out with a local police officer and read books, win prizes, and more. “Books & Badges” is free to attend with no registration required. Officer Katie Guisinger says the event has been successful in its first couple months, and she enjoys getting to interact with local kids and partner with the library staff.
