Frequent holiday travelers and icy road conditions led to a busy weekend for the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a press release, a Greene County Deputy responded to a two vehicle wreck on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue at 5:44pm Friday. The report shows 81-year-old David Hickle of Boone was heading east on 220th Street, when his 2005 Ford Taurus struck an eastbound M-C Stock Cutter that was attached to a 1995 Case IH 7240 Tractor driven by 48-year-old Timothy Tucker of Jefferson.
