With New Year’s Day happening this week, there are several offices and businesses that will be closed in Jefferson.

The Greene County Extension office will close tomorrow at noon and remain closed on New Year’s Day. The Jefferson Library will be closed tomorrow at 6pm and will remain closed on New Year’s Day. Additionally, the Greene County Courthouse, Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Community Center, Jefferson Area Chamber office, and the Jefferson Post Office will be closed on New Year’s Day. 

Jefferson residents are advised that garbage on Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday. Finally, Jefferson Library patrons are reminded that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
