A Guthrie Center man was arrested following an alleged domestic abuse incident Thursday.

According to court documents, dispatch received a 911 call at about 8:57 a.m. for a fight at a residence in the 300 block of North First Street. A female left the residence and at about the same time dispatch received a call from Sparky’s One Stop for a female victim needing law enforcement. The victim told a Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy that 31-year-old Tylar Burt Beardsley choked her, bit her, took her cell phone by force and broke it, and threatened to kill her while choking her. The deputy then spoke with Beardsley at his residence where he admitted there was a physical fight. Law enforcement also spoke with another witness, who stated he saw Beardsley choke the victim.

Beardsley was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery, a class C felony; domestic assault impeding air flow, a class D felony; as well as two counts of child endangerment and one count of first degree harassment, both aggravated misdemeanors.
