Several Greene County FFA students competed at sub-districts earlier this month.
Greene County FFA Advisor Raelyn Harris says three students earned gold and qualified for the district contest, including Makayla Kafer for ag broadcasting, Zach Burbank for welding and Conner Allender in extemporaneous speaking. Additionally, Autumn Villebro earned a gold award for the chapter farmer quiz. Several other Greene County students received silver and bronze awards. Judges selected three teams or individuals in each category to advance to districts.
Sub-districts took place in Audubon on December 18th and there were ten schools that attended. The district contest will be in Harlan on March 7th. Check out the list below for the results from sub-districts.

- Tieryn Tucker, job interview – silver
- Kayla Muir, Lauryn Killion, and Logan Higgins, chapter program – bronze
- Emma Halterman, creed – bronze
- Kendal Fetcher, public speaking – bronze
- Dakota Mobley, Ethan Frederick, Analynn Baugh, Mylo Taute, Mikey Smith, Parker Fitzpatrick, and Grace Curtis – conduct of meetings – bronze
