A local theater organization in Jefferson is once again putting on a holiday dinner and show.
History Boy Theatre Company is doing a production of “Brooklyn The Musical.” The Broadway musical tells the story of five homeless individuals that come together to form a band to transform their neighborhood under the Brooklyn Bridge. Within the musical are two additional stories. One of them is about the group of musicians sharing stories about their lives, one of which is about a young girl who comes to the U.S. to find her father that she has never met.
Additionally, attendees will be treated to dinner prior to the show. Performances are tomorrow, Saturday and New Year’s Eve, along with January 3rd and 4th. Dinner will be served at 6pm, followed by the performance at 7. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by contacting History Boy at 515-370-5369 or by email at historyboytheatrecompany@gmail.com.
