Greene County youth received gifts and toys from a non-profit organization.

New Opportunities of Greene County Coordinator Teresa Lansman tells Raccoon Valley Radio the Toys for Greene County program served 293 area youth this year. Lansman says each child received six toys, as well as socks and underwear, and stocking stuffer items for parents. Toys were collected from area businesses such as American Athletic Incorporated/Spaulding, Hamilton Redi Mix, Greene County Medical Center, the Greene County Engineer’s office and several others. 

Lansman expresses her gratitude to those who donated and having over 30 volunteers who collected the donations and help distribute them to the kids. She says last year, they served 298 children.
