An organization recently gave back to the elderly population in Greene County.

Independent Consultants of Thirty-One gathered donations of holiday items and delivered 150 caddies of gifts and goodies to the residents of Regency Park, Long Term Care at Greene County Medical Center, The Gardens Assisted Living and Evergreen Ridge. Independent consultant Pete Russell says the idea was to help those individuals who may not have family that see them at Christmas, and they were happy to help area residents and give back to the community.
