The ADM Lady Tigers basketball team has been improving in a lot of different aspects as they have raced out to their 6-2 start on the year, but one of the biggest improvements thus far has been their success at the free throw line.
For the Lady Tigers, they did not shoot free throws at a very high rate as they shoot as just over 50% during non-conference play. However, since they have started to bite into their Raccoon River Conference schedule, the Lady Tigers have played some outstanding basketball in route to a 3-1 conference start but their trips to the free throw line have been more successful.
The Lady Tigers are shooting at a 72.6% clip as a team during conference play, which is up nearly 7% from their regular season total currently. Five of six players who have shot at least five free throws during conference play are all shooting above an 80% clip.
If ADM can continue to improve from the free throw and continue to get to the line, the Lady Tigers could put together a very nice season in Raccoon River Conference play.
