A reminder: today is the last day to reserve a free Christmas Day meal with the Jefferson Elks Lodge.

The Jefferson Elks are serving a free holiday meal on Wednesday. The meal includes turkey, ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, rolls and pumpkin pie. Additionally, attendees can also play bingo for a chance to win a variety of donated prizes. The Christmas Day meal has been sponsored by the Jefferson Elks for 55 years and it is intended for those who are spending the holiday alone or who want fellowship on Christmas Day.

The doors will open at 3pm with the meal to be served at 4. Call the Elks Lodge at 515-386-2106 by the end of the day today to reserve a meal.
