Tuesday, December 17th

7:22am: Tina Peck requested officers at 307 West Lincoln Way Street #4, for her son-in- law who was pounding on her apartment door. The male was gone when the officer arrived. The officer located damage to the door, but Peck did not wish to pursue a criminal charge.

7:42am: An officer checked with subjects at 707 South Oak Street after a 911 Hang Up Call. All was fine and the call was accidental.

10:07am: A caller requested a Welfare Check on a female, who appeared to be sleeping in a vehicle at 106 West Washington Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was fine as she waited on a friend at an appointment with a doctor.

11:22am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call near Wilson and Harrison Streets.

11:22am: Eric Wilson reported receiving Unwanted Text Messages from a subject in Jefferson.

11:57am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of South West Street.

5:43pm: Abby Binkley reported she had moved away from Jefferson recently. She advised UPS had delivered her packages to her old Jefferson address. The officer later

learned UPS had picked the packages back up from the Jefferson address after noticing the mistake.

9:12pm: A subject caught a stray dog near Elm and Lincoln Way Street and brought it to the LEC. The dog escaped from them as they unloaded it from the vehicle. The officer was unable to get near the animal as it fled from the area.

10:20pm: A Traffic Stop was performed with a vehicle which had a Third Brake Light out in near Reed and Maple Streets. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Mark James Hurley, 55 of Jefferson for, “OWI 2nd Offense – Aggravated and Improper Rear Lamp- Simple.”

******** Lab results are back on items seized during a Traffic Stop at 220th and Mulberry Streets on 11/28/2019. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Justin Ray Lopez, 21 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Offense/Marijuana – Aggravated and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”

******** Lab results are back on items seized during a Traffic Stop at Wilson and Mahlon Streets on 11/23/2019. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Eric Anthony Grevson, 37 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Offense/Marijuana – Serious and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”
