Jefferson Elks Lodge #2306 invites anyone to spend Christmas Day with them with a free meal.

They will be serving a free meal on December 25th at 4pm at the Elks Lodge. The menu consists of turkey, ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, rolls, and pumpkin pie. This will be the 55th year the Elks have served a free Christmas Day meal. There will also be bingo for attendees to win donated prizes, such as poinsettias. The event started in 1965 with about 60 participants, and at its peak, there were over 250. Additionally carry-outs and meal deliveries are available.

The doors will open at 3pm on Christmas Day and the meal will be served at 4. Reservations are requested by Saturday by calling the Elks Lodge at 515-386-2106.
