The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening for their final regular session of 2019.
The meeting will begin with swearing in Mayor John Andorf and the re-elected Council members. In old business, the Council will consider a change order for the McCreary Community Building mechanical replacement project, as well as tax abatement applications for construction completed in 2019. Much of the items in new business will be annual tasks, including: appointing newspapers for official publications and notices; setting the time and place of regular Council meetings that conflict with holiday observances in 2020; and appointments to various City positions and committees, as well as compliance officers.
Next, the Council will consider the final site plan for Concrete Supply, Inc, and a temporary construction and access easement with ITC Midwest, LLC. That will be followed by a resolution to submit the City’s five-year capital improvement program for the Perry Municipal Airport to the Federal Aviation Administration and Iowa Department of Transportation. Also related to the airport, the Council will approve the bid letting for the fuel system upgrade project and set a public hearing to consider the bids received. Other items include: accepting the administrative settlement for purchase of property; a maintenance agreement with CPI Telecom; and an ordinance amendment regarding operating budget preparation.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
