A Jamaica man was convicted this week on drug charges.

According to court documents, 75-year-old Issac James Moore pleaded guilty to possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a class C felony; and possessing with intent to deliver marijuana, a class D felony. Moore was given suspended 10-year and five-year prison sentences, to be placed on three years probation for each offense to be served consecutively. He must pay over $10,000 in fines, restitution, court costs, and fees. The other charges associated with the case have been dismissed.

These charges stemmed from a March 4th incident when Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at Moore’s residence where they found him smoking meth, and discovered baggies of marijuana and meth, a digital scale, and other drug paraphernalia.
