Reminder: A Democratic candidate for Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District is stopping in Churdan tonight.

J.D. Scholten is currently on his “Don’t Forget About Us” tour, where he is doing a town hall in each of the district’s 39 counties with a town of less than 1,000 people. The town hall will take place at the Churdan Library from 5-6pm. Scholten is running for the Democratic nomination for Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District. He lost last year to Republican incumbent Steve King by three-percentage points. The event is free and open to the public.
