Wild Rose Casino recently made a donation to help those in need.
Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson held a Halloween pumpkin decorating contest within its own departments. The public voted on the best overall pumpkin, with the security department named winners. They chose to donate the $250 check to Operation Christmas Child, which is sponsored by Wild Rose, Jefferson Kiwanis and Raccoon Valley Radio.
Christmas gifts were also purchased during a live broadcast at the casino on December 1st. Toys and $90 cash were given to Greene County New Opportunities Coordinator Teresa Lansman to go to children in need this holiday season.
