Don’t forget, this weekend the Perry Community Theatre will be presenting their production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

The performances will be at 7 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday at the Perry Bible Church, located on the south side of Highway 141 across from Dallas County Hospital. Director Marilee Bales says the play about six rowdy kids who take over a Christmas pageant is both entertaining and thought-provoking for all ages. She also points out that attending the play will be easy on your wallet. “We have a benefactor this year who covered all the costs, so there is no cost (and) there’s no tickets. Under community theater, we normally would have probably had to charge $10 a ticket to cover our costs. But because of the generosity of a benefactor in our church, we got everything covered because we just wanted to make this accessible to everyone. And we hope to see the church full to enjoy this great play!”
