Several Guthrie County students earned statewide glory at the Iowa State Dance & Drill Team Association’s 2020 solo and team competitions.

The Panorama dance team got first place in the Class I contemporary category, and fourth place in the Class III jazz and small-school coed categories. Two Panorama dancers also received high marks at the solo competition held last month. Chloe Webster ranked in first place and Jordan Douglass followed in second place in the Class IV category. West Central Valley soloist Mikayla Hanner also received first place in the Class III category.

The state team contest was held this past weekend at Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines.
