Since the start of December, the Perry Chamber of Commerce has once again been featuring “Merry the Perry Elf,” who has been out and about promoting member businesses.
Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says this is the third year for their “Elf on the Shelf” activity, and she feels it’s been both fun and informative for the public. “(It’s) just a chance to highlight some of our area businesses. They’re not all retail, they’re not all ones that people get to see behind the scenes all the time. So you can see where Merry has been each day on Facebook, (with) different fun things highlighting different features of those businesses.”
The promotion will run through Christmas Eve, with a new Chamber member featured each day.
