An annual holiday tradition returns to Paton this weekend.
The Living Nativity event will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Paton Sunday, with showings at noon and 12:45pm. Along with viewing the live nativity scene, attendees can also enjoy lunch with pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips and cookies on a first come, first served basis from 11:30am-1pm. A free-will donation will be accepted with proceeds to go to the Beauty Amidst the Ashes Adoption Grant.
Additionally, attendees can bring an unwrapped toy to be given to the Care and Share Toy Drive. The Greater Greene County Presbyterian Ministries adds, toys can be given anytime of the year at any of the three Presbyterian church locations in the county, including Paton, Jefferson and Grand Junction.
