The Animal Protection and Education (APE) Charity is holding a low cost vaccination clinic at their Boone location at 801 West Mamie Eisenhower Avenue. From 11am-3pm on Saturday vaccination packages start at $35 for cats and $45 for dogs. It includes a wellness exam, distemper and rabies vaccinations. There may be additional fees if pet is not spayed or neutered.
Also on Saturday, APE is having Santa Claus at their Boone location for pictures. The cost is a free-will donation and kids and pets can have their pictures taken with Santa from 4-6pm. Call them at 515-460-7729 for more information on either event.
