Several bureaucratic offices and other services will be closing up early this week in Guthrie County for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Guthrie County Courthouse, Guthrie County Health Services, and Guthrie County Extension Office will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Transfer Station will be closed Thursday through Saturday. Stuart City Hall and utilities will be closed Thursday and Friday. Those with a utility emergency can call their emergency number at 515-523-2915. Garbage routes will run as normal. Guthrie Center and Panora city halls will also be closed Thursday and Friday.

The Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center will be closed Thursday, the Panora Public Library will be closed Thursday and Friday, and the Stuart Public Library will be closed Thursday through Saturday.
