The Guthrie County Conservation Board has found its next executive director.

The Board announced Wednesday that Brad Halterman has been hired to replace Joe Hanner, who is retiring on December 20th. His previous experience includes employment as project manager for the Lake Panorama Association, Natural Resource Manager for the Guthrie County Conservation Board, and Director of the Jones County Conservation Board.

Board Chairman George Hemmen stated, “The Board interviewed five quality candidates, but Halterman’s experience in a variety of conservation areas moved him to the top of the list. The Board is looking forward to working with Halterman on the management and development of Guthrie County natural resource and recreational areas.”

Halterman will begin his duties on December 9th.
