2:09am: An officer located an Open Door at 1002 North Cedar Street. The officer secured the building.

4:20am: An officer was requested at 404 East Harrison Street for a bat in the residence. The officer did not locate the bat.

6:59am: Nancy Timmons reported a male along the road on 220th Street, near M Ave. The male was waving his arms at traffic in the area. The officer spoke to the male and learned he was setting up to flag traffic in the area for road work.

8:23am Fareway requested assistance in locating the owner of a vehicle, which had sat in their parking lot for numerous days at 1207 North Elm Street. The officer made contact with the registered owner, who advised it would be removed.

10:07am: Deb Cooklin spoke to an officer about a vehicle parked at her rental property at 509 South Olive Street.

10:20am: An officer located a dog running loose in the 200 Block of West State Street. The animal was placed in the Animal Holding Facility.

10:50am: Officers performed a Funeral Escort.

3:15pm: Jim Copeland reported he had received the Publisher’s Clearing House Phone Scam. They requested he send $550.00 to them to receive his prize. He did not incur a loss.

4:23pm: Robert Horak requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 100 Block of East State Street, after not being able to contact the subject all day by phone. The officers made contact with the subject, who was fine.

5:44pm: A Traffic Stop in the 200 Block of East Washington Street resulted in Junior Gutierres of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Diver’s License.”

5:54pm: Josh Derry reported an Unattended Fire, very close to a residence in the 300 Block of North Locust Street. The officer was unable to locate the reported fire.

8:14pn: Chad Ferguson requested an officer at the Field House, located at 102 South Chestnut Street, to remove some unruly parents from the building. The subjects had gone before the officer arrived and all was fine.

9:24pm: An officer located an Open Door at 501 West Greenewood Road.
