The Adel City Council met Tuesday evening for a special 2020-2021 goal setting session.

The meeting began with an introduction, general overview of the process, and a brief review of City accomplishments over the last two years, as well as a review of issues, concerns, and trends. After that, the Council reviewed and ranked programs, policies, and initiatives, followed by the same for capital projects and equipment purchases. Finally, they reviewed and evaluated the “Team Work Objectives” for the next year.

City staff felt the meeting was productive and informative, and told Raccoon Valley Radio they’re looking forward to implementing many of the goals set out during the session. A draft of the goals will be compiled by staff and presented for approval at the Council meeting on Tuesday, December 10th.
