Any current members of the Perry Chamber of Commerce who are interested in joining the Chamber Board of Directors now have the opportunity to do so.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says they are accepting nominations for the Board, and any interested individuals are encouraged to throw their hat in the ring. “We have three Board members that their term is ending at the end of this year. Of course, there’s an opportunity for them to be nominated again and kind of renew their service to the Chamber (Board) for another three years. But it also provides an opportunity for other individuals to step up and get involved.”

Pasutti says the nomination process is simple, and starts with calling or emailing the Chamber Office with your interest. After that, the Board will follow up with the interested individuals, giving them a questionnaire to fill out to ensure there is a level of commitment. Pasutti points out that the Board meets once a month and members are also expected to attend many of the Chamber-related events throughout the year. Nominees will be considered at the December Board meeting, and those selected will begin their terms in January.
