The 2019 winter sports season starts for the Panorama.

Today marks the first day that official practice can be held for boy’s basketball and wrestling. On the court, Panorama is looking to build off of their 13-11 2018 campaign.

Panorama will bring back two of their top three weapons from a year ago. Senior Kolby Shackelford will be the top returner. Shackelford averaged 12.8 points per game. His 307 points scored was second on the team, and 12th in the conference. Junior Zach Rizzuti wasn’t far behind with his 11.8 points per game. Panorama will start the season Friday, December 6th as they host Woodward-Granger.

On the mat, Panorama will begin their 2019 campaign with a quad at Southeast Valley High School. There the Panthers will face Southeast Valley, Coon Rapids Bayard, and Manson Northwest Webster.  Individually, they bring back one state qualifier in Wyatt Appleseth. The Junior put up a 34-3 record in his sophomore season.
