Despite the cross country season ending just a few weeks ago, the Panorama cross country team is already eyeing big goals for the 2020 season.

The season ended just a few weeks ago in Fort Dodge with three girl runners representing the Panthers. Ella Waddle, Oliva Steffen, and Peyton Beckman qualified as individuals for the state championships. The team was just one spot away from returning to the big dance. Head Coach Greg Thompson tells raccoon valley radio for the team to reach their potential, they’re work has to be mainted in the offseason. At the state race, Waddle led the pack finishing in fifth place overall in 19:19. Waddle also happened to be the best finishers among underclassmen in the field. Steffen was the next Panther to finish as her time of 20:50 which was good enough to finish 39th. Beckman rounded out the afternoon for Panorama finishing in 21:50 which was 90th in the field of 138.
