Jefferson Hy-Vee and Greene County Elementary have teamed up for a special program.

The elementary school is part of the Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program. Anytime someone purchases a $2.50 reusable Hy-Vee bag, $1 will go back to the elementary school. The program also supports the environment by cutting down on plastic and paper bags. The program goes throughout the month of November.
