A trio of Panorama cross country runners will try to build on a strong performance at last years state championship meet.

The Panthers have been led by Ella Waddle who has been dominant for two years now. Last year Waddle finished fourth individually at the state championship race as the Panthers finished in seventh as a team. Waddle has built on her stellar sophomore campaign with several first place finishes. At the state qualifying meet she finished second finishing only behind AC/GC’s Kate Crawford. Two other Panthers qualified as individuals. Olivia Steffen, and Payton Beckman will be making the trip to Fort Dodge as well. One year ago, Steffen finished in 21:15 and Beckman 21:55 at the state championships.
