The Greene County Historical Society invites everyone to their monthly program focusing on women’s clubs of the county.

Cooper resident Chuck Offenburger will lead the program and inform attendees about several women’s clubs. The highlight of the November program will be the “Varceis Club” of Scranton, with over 70-years of history. A skit will be done with Varceis members including Linda Hedges, Lanie Schermerhorn, Sue Holden and Susanne MacDonald. Following the skit, one of the founding members, Roberta Henning, will answer questions from the public. 

The program will begin at 12:45pm on Friday at the Scranton United Methodist Church. It is free and open to the public.
