The next event for the Perry Public Library’s monthly Craft Club is coming in the middle of November, but potential participants will need to sign up soon to take part.
Library Director Mary Murphy says they’ve had a good turnout for the program during its first two months, and she encourages anyone who likes to make their own holiday decorations to register. The deadline to sign up is this Friday, and the program itself will take place on Tuesday, November 12th, led by Minburn Library Director Nicole Connick. Murphy describes the Thanksgiving-inspired craft for the month. “This will be a ‘Thankful’ sign. It is a 1×6 (inch board), probably about 20-inches long. And so the Craft Club has the large meeting room, and they will be crafting in there and making the signs!”
There is no cost to participate in the Perry Craft Club, and all materials will be provided. However, Murphy says free-will donations are appreciated to help cover the library’s costs. She adds, if you miss the November 1st deadline to register, you can call the library to see if there are still spots open prior to the 12th. For more information or to sign up, stop in or call the Perry Library at 515-465-3569.
