A reminder: tomorrow night is Beggars Night for communities throughout Dallas County, so here’s the times and locations that kids can embark on their quest for candy.
Perry will have their downtown “Spooktacular” event on 2nd Street from 4-6 p.m., with the Dallas County Hospital Safe and Healthy Halloween running from 5-6:30 and the Rowley Masonic Community Haunted House from 5-7. Citywide trick-or-treating in Perry will run from 6-8 p.m. Other cities in Dallas County with multiple Halloween festivities include: Dexter, which will have a “Trunk-or-Treat” at the United Methodist Church and citywide trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m.; Redfield, where the American Legion will host a party from 5-6 p.m. and Beggars Night will run from 6-8; and Minburn, which will have their annual “Trunk-or-Treat” on Baker Street from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and citywide trick-or-treating from 6-8.
Other area Beggars Nights tomorrow include Linden from 5-7 p.m., Adel from 6-8, and DeSoto from 6-8. Trick-or-treaters are reminded to where bright or reflective clothing or take a flashlight or glow item with them, in order to be seen more clearly in the dark by motorists. Additionally, for those giving out candy tomorrow, you should keep your outside house light on to indicate kids can stop there.
