The West Central Valley Lady Wildcats volleyball team had a young and inexperience team coming into the season and initially showed some growing pains. The Lady Wildcats had a tough start to their season losing their first 13 games to begin the year.
Since that beginning the Lady Wildcats have been playing some much better volleyball down the home stretch, winners of six of their last ten games, including back-to-back wins in the postseason over Panorama and Earlham. It has been a mix of experience and youth that has helped propel them to better results in the second half of the season.
The Lady Wildcats will be hosting a district home game tomorrow against a hyper talented Nodaway Valley team. If the Lady Wildcats can find their recipe for more success like they have this second half of the year, there’s a chance they can keep up with a good opponent.
