An advocacy group is coming to Jefferson tomorrow for an informational meeting.

Marcy’s Law for Iowa is an organization that’s dedicated to ensuring equal rights of crime victims are codified in the state’s constitution. The Road to Rights Community Coffee event will take place at 8am at the Greene County Community Center. Attendees will hear about what the group has done and continues to do to fight for victims’ rights and there will be time for questions.

The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not necessary.
