The annual certified enrollment report recently came out for the Panorama School District, showing steady enrollment numbers, according to Superintendent Shawn Holloway.

The enrollment count is taken on the first day of October every year and is due by October 15 to the state department of education to be used for the Iowa School Finance Formula calculation. Holloway points out a positive from this year’s report is that Panorama saw a .78 increase in the total school age students provided instructional services by the district, to 684.7. The number of non-resident public students attending the District increased as well, up 2.1 to 50.1. Holloway reflects on the district’s recent enrollment figures, “The last couple years our number of students served had gone down slightly but not anything that was alarming but obviously it’s better to be on the positive side than the negative side.”

The number of resident public students attending Panorama decreased by 1.1 to 634.6. The actual enrollment number also decreased by 3.12 to 693.8.
